Rene Descartes describes this as an irrefutable truth and perception. The idea of an irrefutable truth, is that it is a confirmed thought/sense that can happen. For example, in this image, the irrefutable truths, are that we can see things, and smell things. The idea of perception, is that whatever we see or smell however, is only doubt, and not exactly true.
